Admissions
A clear, personal path from first hello to first day. Here's exactly what to expect.
Getting to know each other
Get to know each other and hear about the program.
Introduce your student and let us get a feel for what he values and enjoys.
Upon receiving an acceptance packet, this is your moment to decide if we're the right school for your family.
Locking it in
Our recommended umbrella is the FCA Umbrella Program ($150 registration fee). We'll work with you to submit the application and set up the right course materials — these ensure we record all the correct course loads to graduate.
A $500 tuition deposit is due August 5.
Using FCA? We cover the full registration fee, and you'll get a $650 credit toward your first-quarter payment (registration fee + tuition deposit).
Using a different umbrella? We'll still walk through everything together and cover up to $100 of umbrella fees — you'll see a $600 credit toward your first-quarter payment.
Come with course material to design your student's parent-material section of the course. The goal is 4 points' worth of material for the year. We cover the core academics — this is your chance, as parents, to communicate morality and values in another sphere outside the home. This is a scheduled, in-person meeting. Here's the kind of material we're looking for:
Books
Books you personally believe are important.
Public figures
Public figures whose work you value.
Online course
An online course you feel is valuable (points depend on the course).
Period of history
A period of history with specific types of stories.
Video / lecture series
A video, lecture, or YouTube series you think is important.
Personal content
Your own content — points evaluated case by case.
Your first-quarter tuition payment is due.
Come with your student if you'd like to meet our teachers and see our space.
